It pays to recycle!
UPPCO in partnership with Efficiency United is bringing back appliance recycling events in 2020. If you’ve got an old, in working condition appliance taking up space in your home and wasting energy, we’ll pay you for it! In addition to saving space in your home, getting rid of old appliances can help you save on your energy bill. Did you know that older refrigerators use nearly twice as much energy as newer, energy-efficient models? On top of those energy savings, we’ll make sure your appliance is recycled in an environmentally friendly fashion and give you a rebate of up to $50.
All you need to do is bring your old, unwanted appliance(s)* to one of the following events with a copy of your UPPCO utility bill.
