Tree Applique' in Wood-Triangles with Wayne Walma

Students will explore the use of small pegs to applique’ (aka attach) wood to a wood background. After a demonstration by the instructor, students will practice the steps involved: cutting, sanding, measuring, creating a design using triangular shapes, finally attaching the pieces to the background. Natural history associated with native wood species will be discussed.
