Phil Lynch Quartet at Calumet Theatre

The Phil Lynch Quartet performs Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 7:30 pm at the Calumet Theatre. General seating tickets are $12 with member discounts.
 
The group, composed of four public school educators from the Upper Peninsula, presents a mix of vocal standards and jazz instrumental, plus original songs.  Their repertoire ranges from Duke Ellington and Miles Davis to the Beatles and Disney, always in the key of jazz. Phil Lynch of Escanaba Area Schools plays piano and handles the vocals. Craig Recla, Iron Mountain director of instrumental music, plays trumpet and alto saxophone. John Beck, Escanaba vocal music director, is on bass. Greg Hunt, music director emeritus of Norway Schools, is on drums.
